Case Study: Snap Solutions
Challenge
Snap Solutions set out to challenge the market leader in occupational health software — a costly, rigid, outdated, and not-so-agile system that lacked customization and modern usability. The opportunity was clear: build a scalable, user-friendly platform that combined flexibility, intuitive workflows, and a modern experience from day one.
The mission was ambitious, to design and launch an entirely new ecosystem that simplified complex processes and empowered clinics, employers, and healthcare organizations to manage compliance, testing, and patient data in one connected space.
Solution
Collaborating directly with the founder and development team, I led the end-to-end creative and marketing strategy for Snap’s launch. From defining the visual identity and product architecture to designing the interface and go-to-market messaging, I ensured every element worked together to deliver enterprise-grade functionality with consumer-grade simplicity.
Platform Architecture
Snap was engineered to serve three core business segments:
- Snap Labs – A full laboratory management module for tracking, processing, and reporting results.
- SnapScreening – Streamlined workflows for drug screens and compliance documentation.
- Snap ES (Employer Services) – A suite for managing workforce health, onboarding, and occupational testing.
Each product line followed a cohesive design and messaging framework, creating a seamless experience whether users were administrators, lab technicians, or employer clients.
Design & User Experience
My design philosophy centered on clarity, efficiency, and approachability. Moving away from the dense, monochromatic style typical of legacy healthcare systems, I introduced a modern SaaS-inspired look and feel that emphasized simplicity and trust.
Key Design Elements:
- Modern Visual System: Clean interface with a light, contemporary color palette — including strategic use of purple to tie back to brand heritage.
- Simplified Navigation: Logical hierarchy and consistent layout patterns across all tabs and dashboards.
- Consistent Interactions: Standardized pop-ups, modals, and data views for predictable, frictionless user behavior.
- Optimized Layouts: Expanded whitespace and simplified grids to reduce clutter and enhance readability.
- Scalable Design Framework: Created flexible UI components that could easily extend across future modules and integrations.
The final result was a platform that users described as “sleek, intuitive, and surprisingly fast.”
Brand & Marketing Expansion
Once the platform was in place, I extended Snap’s foundation into a cohesive brand and growth strategy. This included visual identity work, digital presence, and early go-to-market execution.

- Website Relaunch: Designed a fresh, dynamic web presence modeled after modern SaaS experiences.

- Developed and launched a 30-Day Free Trial campaign supported by landing pages, nurture emails, and paid media (LinkedIn + Google).
- Produced tradeshow booths, infographics, webinars, and thought-leadership content to attract and convert prospective clients.
